Smoking Lounge January 7, 2009
Over the holidays I traveled to Thailand for a wedding in Chiang Mai and the group honeymoon in Koh Lipe near the border of Malasia. En route, I passed through Taipei Airport. I thought the smoking lounge was really space-age. Gotta feel like you’re in a modern setting while puffing the fags.

wine-tasting in olivos February 18, 2007
Solvang, Olivos, and Buellton are quaint Santa Barbara towns for wine-tasting and tasting the fruits of the earth’s bounty. I am having breakfast at ellen’s danish pancake house. I’m staying in a rented RV in a park a few blocks a way. Traveling in style is always my M.O.
The climate here is perfect for pinot noir and cabernet grapes. This is where Sideways is supposed to be based on. A toast to sunday morning on avenue of the flags…

stuck at airport February 17, 2007
I am officially annoyed by the relentless anna nicole coverage. I am at the airport waiting for boarding for a delayed flight. Don’t they understand that I need to get to LA to worship the sun. If this post is successful, it will the first blog entry done via crackberry.
