my NEW title is Cockney rhyming slang for “it’s all gone wrong”. But actually, it’s quite the the opposite, my friends. It’s all taken a right turn. It’s all sunshine and rosy goodness.

New cause…i need brit-hair February 20, 2007
I have a new category on my blogroll called “Heinous Crimes Celebrities Foster.” Can someone PLEASE fuck me slowly with a chainsaw. Gag me with a spoon, or stick a hot curling iron into my eye? This morning I was frightened and disgusted to learn that there are people out there trying to sell Britney Spear’s skanky dark brown trashy mop of freshly shaven tresses? WTF. Forget Global Warming. We should all enlist in a new cause: SPEAR Britney!!!!!

How hair is cut to FRINGE
This is my locks of LOVE experience. This is how it goes in pictorial. Here’s my image library:
First grew my hair for a long time. Here’s me in my bathroom when I had long hair:
My bathroom:
,
My long hair:
Then for the CUT. I went to Fringe Saloon. Check out their site. They cut for Rainer Maria. http://www.fringeny.com/
My STYLIST: Jacqueline
So the hair has to be 10 inches. Then:
,now you see it…the CUT..then there’s me holding the hair like it’s a fish I just caught. After that, Maggie, who took these photos, washed my hair.
They measured it with a ruler.

I even managed to have some chamomile tea while Jacqueline talked to that cute client who was next.
Then I’m going to send the hair to locks of love.
I will bag the hair,
(eweeiiii..hope they don’t mistake it for zombie hair…)
and then send the hair to LOCKS OF LOVE.
The hair will be made to use wigs for children who have lost their hair for various medical reasons. It’d be different if they didn’t have a choice in what they’re hair looked like long or short…Here’s a photo from their website of a girl who received a wig.

Locks of Luv care package… January 23, 2007
So, I am writing this letter to the organization and I hope I can get some photos back from whoever gets a wig made out of the hair.
Dear Locks of Love,
After much thought and going 7 months without a haircut, I decided to lop off my tresses. I would like to donate my hair to your organization. I saw those photos of the children who lost their hair due to illness and would love to help someone get a brand new wig made out of my hair. My hair is black so I imagine it might suit an Asian person, or anyone in need of black hair.
I did a mini-blog where there are photos. I got my haircut done at a salon in LES, called Fringe. Fringe is located in the Lower East Side. They did a great job with it. I would love to find out more about the little girl who gets the hair, and what she looks like. How old might she be, and where does she live?
Your site is amazing and an inspiration to all. I loved seeing the “before and after.” It made me realize that in this day and age, kids get chemotherapy, or suffer from early alopecia. Many celebrities may cut their hair off to make a political statement or to change their appearance. When women don’t have a choice of hairstyle because their hair is gone, I’d imagine there is a lot of stigma and teasing in early-adolescent development. I also enclosed some candy and soap. There is a notebook for the girl that gets the wig. I’d love it if she got a chance to write stories in it, or to share poetry and reflections. The soap is from the store at the end of my block, Sabon.
Enclosed is a check for $x from the following people (insert your name here), and a card for the salon where it was cut. (I am going to contribute $50 and if you are reading this and want to contribute, please feel free to send a check to:
